Happy 42bd birthday Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha was born in Lagos on the 12th of March 1980. She hails from Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. Is a Nigerian actress, director, and movie producer. In 2007, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for "Best Actress in a leading role" for her performance in the movie "Sins of the flesh", and the Afro Hollywood award for best actress in a lead role in 2010

She graduated with a BSc in Banking & Finance from Lagos State University.

She has been married to Mr. Franklin Akpotha since 2006. The marriage is blessed with two beautiful kids.

With a career, which has spanned almost two decades, she has been featured in over 400 movies and produced 6 films, she is also a public speaker and mentors the youth. She recently has a building platform called Masterclass With Chioma, where aspiring talents especially actors are taught by seasoned filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, and other industry professionals on what it takes to make it in, film, TV, and theatre.
