Maryam Apaokagi was born on February 28, 1999, in Ilorin, Kwara State, but spent the majority of her childhood in Namibia. She attended Kwara State University and majored in Tourism and Travel Service Management.
She is the CEO and founder of Chop Tao, a food company, and she directs for The Greenade Company, a cinematography company. She is well-known for her ability to play multiple roles in her skits.
Apaokagi proposed to her fiancé Abdulaziz Oladimeji (aka. Abula) in Namibia in October 2020, and they married on January 24, 2021.
