Happy Birthday Mercy Chinwo

Happy Birthday Mercy Chinwo is a Nigerian gospel musician, singer, actress, comedian and songwriter. She started singing at age 8 in her church children's choir, she won the Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012.

Mercy Nnenda Chinwo was born on September 5, 1990, in Portharcourt, Rivers State.She is the fourth of five children in her family (First daughter).

Chinwo released her first single, "Testimony" in 2015, and "Igwe" a year later in 2017.

She got married in Port Harcourt to Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa of Water Brooks Church Lekki on the 13th of August 2022.

A year after winning Nigerian Idol, she landed her first film role in Yvonne Nelson's film, House of Gold where she acted as Lucia.
