Happy Birthday Broda Shaggi

Happy Birthday Broda Shaggi, born Samuel Animashaun Perry, is a Nigerian comedian, actor, songwriter, and musician. He was born in Ikene, Ogun State, but a Ishagamu native. He became interested in acting drama at a young age, influenced by his late father, who was a drama teacher.

Broda Shaggi earned a degree in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, and his late father taught drama at Junior School in Ikenne, Ogun State.

While at university, he began performing comedy acts. He created a slew of characters before settling on the name Broda Shaggi. Broda Shaggi is known in the industry for his comedic abilities and distinct character. He has received numerous honors, including the Future Awards Africa Nigeria Prize for Comedy and the City People Music Award for Comedy Act of the Year.
