He was born in Ghana, although raised by his Nigerian mother.
He is the firstborn of four children and holds Ghanian and Nigerian citizenship. He would later return to Nigeria, where he harnessed his talent in acting and made a career out of it.
Toosweet Annan was schooled in Nungua Senior High School, Ghana; he studied visual arts. He later proceeded with his education, specializing in fine arts at the prestigious Ghanatta College of Arts, Ghana.
