He had both his primary and secondary school education in Imo state. He later proceeded to Enugu state University of science and technology, where he bagged a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. Laclass Ozougwu also attended Film Institute in Jos, where he was trained as a professional actor.
He is happily married
