He was born in Accra, Ghana on the 16th of May 1985, to Ghanaian parents.
He is the only child of his mother
and father, but he has four other siblings from his father's side. James Gardiner's mother is a nurse in the United States. His father is late.
James Gardiner rose to fame when he was featured in the movie Byline in 2001.
James attended Star Avenue primary and Junior high School. He then proceeded to St.Augustine’s College to have his second-cycle education. James later went to the University of Cape Coast to pursue his tertiary education.
