Happy Birthday, Afeez Owo

Happy Birthday, Afeez Owo is an actor, producer, and a director. He is worldwide known as “Saka” and is best known for his clown acting in Nollywood movies and has featured in many Nigerian movies.

Afeez had his primary and secondary education at St. Paul Anglican School, Idiroko, Ogun state, and Faramora Secondary School in Oyo State respectively. He however relocated to Lagos for greener pasture in the mid-80s.

Afeez Owo started his acting career in his secondary school days when he came up with a drama script “Kokoro Aiye”, which received wide commendations from his mates and school teachers.

Afeez is now a lecturer in the department of theatre art at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Lagos State.

Afeez Owo is also a movie producer. He has successfully produced several movies including “Majen Sinwon Waiye” which happens to be his first movie production.

Afeez Owo married Mide Martins, another popular Nollywood actress, and the daughter of the late actress, Funmi Martins who passed on after a brief illness on the 6th of April, 2002.

The marriage is blessed with two daughters.
