Happy 81st birthday to Olajumoke Ray Eyiwunmi popularly known as Mama Ray was born on the 14th of March 1941 is the mother of 3 talented actors – Muka Ray and Lasun Ray has been in the industry for almost 6 decades. She is one of the few movie veteran that shared the acting stage with Late Hubert Ogunde and one of the colonists and founders of the Nollywood.

Her husband Ron ay Eyiwunmi who died on 15th April 1976 was also one of the innovators in the industry. The family had once been a point of reference when the t comes to comedy in the Nigerian film industry as the whole family always features in any movie produced by any member of the family.

Mama Ray-Eyiwumi is an actress, known for Esu masemi (2006), Eewo orisa (2007) and Esu masemi 2 (2006).

One of the sons of the veteran actress is Muka Ray Eyiwunmi is a popular Nigerian filmmaker, actor, producer, director. He is one of the eleven children of the Late Actor and film producer, Ray Eyiwunmi. He hails from Kwara State, Nigeria. He was born on 19th April, some years ago. He attended AUD primary school, Osogbo in Osun State, from there he proceeded to Aran Orin Comprehensive High School, Kwara State, and later to Kwara State Polytechnic for his tertiary education.
