Happy 80th birthday! Prince John Oluropo Ogunwusi was born 6th of March 1942 is the biological father of the 51st Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja the second.
He is an offspring of the 44th Ooni of Ife, Ojaja Orasigba who reigned from the year 1878 to 1880.
Prince Oluropo Ogunwusi has always kept a low profile life, even after his biological son was put in as the 51st Oba of Ile Ife kingdom. Many thought that with his son becoming a King his lifestyle would change, but nothing has changed about the simple life of Prince Oluropo Ogunwusi, who made an outstanding career in broadcasting.
Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; (Ọjájá II) was born 17 October 1974 is the 51st and current Ooni of Ife. He is the traditional ruler/monarch of the Yoruba kingdom of Ile-Ife. He acceded to the throne in 2015 succeeding the deceased Oba Okunade Sijuwade, who was the 50th Ooni of Ife.
His Imperial Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja the second, was born Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the son of Prince John Oluropo Ogunwusi and Princess Margaret Wuraola Sidikatu Abegbe Ogunwusi.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Global Real Estate Institute.
Oba Ogunwusi is the Chancellor at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
