Happy 62nd Birthday Adedayo Olumide Adeneye popularly known as Dayo D1 was born on the 23rd of March 1960 in Odogbolu, Ogun State. He is a famous Nigerian DJ, brilliant tv presenter, and former commissioner in Ogun State.
Dayo hails from Ogun State in southwestern Nigeria. D1 and Kenny Ogungbe have been partners in changing the Nigerian entertainment industry since their return from America in 1996.
D-One had his primary education at St. Catherine's Nursery, Primary and Secondary School, Surulere Lagos, and ljebu-Ode Grammar School in ljebu Ode, Ogun state.
He also studied briefly at the Federal
School of Arts and Science, Victoria Island, Lagos between 1980 and 1981. He went further to study at the prestigious Southern University of New Orleans, the USA where he bagged a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1985.
D1 later obtained a Master's degree in
Mass Communication, majorly on Radio
and Television production from Southern
University, Baton Rouge, USA.
Dayo D1 is the Co-CEO, Primetime
Entertainment since 2001which is preserved as Nigeria's best entertainment Television and Radio program with an African entertainment viewpoint.
He was also former Commissioner in Ogun State under Governor Ajimobi in 2015. He is also a family friend of DAAR
Communications Plc.
D1 began his entertainment career in the

Music, which he founded alongside his
close friend and partner, Kenny Ogungbe.
